Les installations du projet Cheat revisitent l’image du tricheur au nez qui pousse et la façon dont, découvert, il était parfois traité, recouvert de goudron et de plumes.
Il y avait deux raisons principales qui motivaient mon désir d’exposer cette œuvre à cet endroit à ce moment-là : Premièrement : Comme mon atelier est aussi une ancienne manufacture d’armes nazi dans la France occupée, il était important pour moi d’en ramener ma production dans ce qui fut à la même époque la Führerresidenz d’Hitler en Prusse Orientale.Deuxièmement : à l’époque de l’exposition, les Américains trichaient sur le sol polonais, y utilisant des bases secrètes dans le but d’y torturer des prisonniers étrangers.

The installations of the Cheat series revisit the nose growing cheat image, and, once discovered, the way the cheat is sometimes treated, covered in tar and feathers.
There were two main reasons which motivated my desire to exhibit this piece in that place at that particular time:Firstly: As my studio was also an old Nazi arms factory in occupied France, it was important for me to bring my production to what was, during the same period, Hitler's Führerrezidenz in Oriental Prussia.Secondly: at the time of the exhibition, the Americans were cheating on Polish soil, using secret bases so as to torture foreign prisoners there.
